How to submit your application
Please note that all the information will be treated in a strictly confidential manner by our jury and all documents will be destroyed after the selection of the winners.
Your application must be sent, in 3 copies, by mail to:

Only applications completed by the candidates themselves (not submitted by another organization) and sent by Canada Post will be accepted. For any questions or additional inquiries, please send an email to info@ccfvancouver.com.
What are the criteria?
The Gala de la Palme Bleue competition is for:
- any company, member in good standing of the French-speaking Chamber of Commerce of Vancouver,
- located in the Greater Vancouver Area,
- operated by one or more French-speaking owners,
- and, commercially active for at least three (3) years.

The following companies are not eligible:
- companies that have not been in business for at least three (3) years,
- non-profit organizations,
- businesses whose owners are community or charitable associations,
- businesses owned by members of the board of directors of the French-speaking Chamber of Commerce of Vancouver.
It should be noted that no form of monetary commitment is required for companies entering the the Gala de la Palme Bleue competition, or the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce or its partners.
In which category should I apply?
Company of the Year 2019
Active for at least three (3) years and with at least three (3) full-time employees.
This award recognizes the company that has marked the business community with its outstanding performance and ability to stay among the best.
Micro-Enterprise / Self-employed worker of the year 2019
Active for at least three (3) years and with less than three (3) full-time employees.
This award rewards the micro-enterprise or the self-employed person who must have distinguished themselves by outstanding achievement during the last year.
A micro-enterprise can be operated in a variety of sectors, but should not have more than three full-time employees, including the owner. Typically, a micro-enterprise or self-employed worker provides business, accounting, technical, legal, computer or other services or skills.
Female entrepreneur of the year 2019
In activity for at least three (3) years.
This award recognizes a woman who must be the founder of the company or have had a significant impact in case of the business acquisition and be the company’s chief or chief decision-maker.
What are the evaluation criteria?
The evaluation of the application will be based on the following three criteria:
Development
For example: job creation, development of new products or services, etc.
Achievements
For example: employee training, financial growth, development etc.
Innovation
For example: innovative nature of products or services, impact of activities on the environment, etc.
